Shanghai Boat & Yacht Club (SBYC) in cooperation with Shanghai Yacht Club Resort (SYCR) and Elite Yachting China is organizing the first 24 hour regatta ever held at Shanghai Dianshan Lake in China.

Taking inspiration from our friends at Hebe Haven Yacht Club in Hong Kong, we will be hosting a reciprocal event right here in Shanghai.

The boats will be racing non-stop for 24 hours on the water (full moon and heat is expected this weekend). This is a relay race for teams of not less than 6 people using Red Dragon, Vision, Omega and Wetas boats.

The race will start on Saturday (May 5) at 2:00 pm and finish on Sunday 24 hours later.

Boat owners, crew and helm will live and sleep on site during the entire weekend so this should be fun with lots of fun, drinks and some actions on the lake!
